The APNC is a friendly, veterinary approved association for canine and feline nutrition consultants with an aim to support, regulate and unite consultants in the pet industry sector. Whether you are already practising or would like to become a consultant, you can apply to be an APNC registered nutrition consultant and enjoy the benefits of support, CPD, extensive resources, mentorship and veterinary referrals.

How to join the APNC register

Registered associates will have studied canine nutrition, completed our dedicated self-led mentorship and presented case studies highlighting competency and an ability to work integratively with the veterinary industry.

We welcome applications to join our mentorship and become a registered associate from the following:

  • Ofqual regulated L3 Diploma in Canine Nutrition
  • Animal Science Degree with appropriate modules
  • BVNA or BSAVA Award in Pet Nutrition

Please fill out our Associate Registration-Mentorship Application form here and we will be in touch to chat and discuss your mentorship enrolment or registration.
