Mission Statement

We are an independent association with the aim of serving dog owners by maintaining high standards of knowledge, empathy, and skills in all pet nutrition consultants.

For the nutrition consultant, we offer a space to discuss cases as a confidential community and provide support within the role of a nutrition consultant. Provide courses and ongoing CPD to keep updated with current practice.

Our registered associates are mentored to understand all sectors of the pet food industry as well as nutritional biochemistry.

Understand fresh wholefoods as the underpinning route to health and well being whilst also supporting guardian choices of feeding and canine needs.

We offer mentorship with the purpose of providing knowledge and a support framework for pet nutrition consultants.

The APNC has been formed by a duo of professionals with a combined experience 56 years within the industry.
It has quickly gained the support of vets, those utilising nutrition as their primary therapy and those wishing to see safety and consistency within the emerging profession of pet nutrition consultancy.

If you are a practicing nutrition consultant you can apply to be registered with the APNC and enjoy the benefits of support, CPD, extensive resources, mentorship and veterinary referrals.
